Shipping Policy

Every peshtemal in our shop is handwoven in Denizli, Turkey, and we want it to reach you in perfect condition and with as little wait as possible. Here's everything you can expect once your order is placed.

Processing Time

We carefully pack each order by hand. Orders are processed and shipped within 5–7 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). During busy periods or promotions, processing may take a little longer, and we'll always let you know if that's the case.

Where We Ship

We currently ship within the United States only. We're a small team, and we want to get domestic shipping just right before we expand. International shipping isn't available yet, but it's on our list, so please check back with us.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship all US orders via FedEx. Standard orders travel with FedEx Ground Economy, and expedited orders ship with FedEx Express Saver®. Once your order leaves us, delivery is handled by the carrier and their standard timelines apply.

Delivery Estimates

After your order ships, you can expect it to arrive within:

  • Standard shipping (FedEx Ground Economy): 5–7 business days
  • Expedited shipping (FedEx Express Saver®): 2–3 business days

These are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, holidays, and carrier delays can occasionally add a day or two.

Shipping Costs

  • Free standard shipping on all US orders over $70.
  • Orders under $70 are charged a flat rate of $6.75, calculated at checkout.
  • Any expedited options and their rates will be shown at checkout before you pay.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we'll email you a tracking number so you can follow your peshtemal on its way home. If you don't see it in your inbox within 10 business days of ordering, please check your spam folder, then reach out to us.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We pack every order with care, but once in a while things go wrong in transit. If your package arrives damaged, or tracking says it was delivered but you can't find it, please email us at contact@thehouseofaegean.com within 7 days of the delivery date. Include your order number and, if it's a damage claim, a photo of the item and packaging. We'll make it right.
