Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to love your peshtemal. Each one is handwoven from Turkish cotton in Denizli, and we know buying textiles online means trusting how something will look and feel before you've held it. If it isn't right for you, we're here to make returning it simple and stress-free.
Our 30-Day Promise
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. If 30 days have passed, we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange, but please reach out anyway — we'll always do our best to help.
Return Condition
To be eligible for a return, your peshtemal must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and in its original condition
- Free of stains, odors, and signs of wear
- Returned with any original packaging or tags, where possible
Because our towels are a personal item, we can only accept returns that are still in fresh, resellable condition. Items that have been washed or used can't be returned unless they arrived damaged or defective (see below).
How to Start a Return
Starting a return is easy. Just email us at contact@thehouseofaegean.com with your order number and let us know which item(s) you'd like to return and why. We read every message personally, and we'll reply within 2–3 business days with return instructions and the address to send your item back to.
Please don't send anything back before you hear from us, so we can make sure your return is logged correctly.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we sent the wrong item — in which case we'll cover it.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we can't be responsible for returns that are lost in transit. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned peshtemal, we'll send you an email to let you know it arrived and whether your refund is approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few extra days for the funds to appear.
Exchanges
Want a different color or a fresh one instead? We're happy to help. Email us at contact@thehouseofaegean.com and we'll walk you through exchanging your item, subject to availability. If your preferred item is out of stock, we'll offer you a refund or the option to wait for a restock.
Final-Sale Items
Items marked "Final Sale" — such as discounted or clearance products — cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive damaged or defective. Any final-sale status will be clearly noted on the product page before you buy.
Damaged or Defective Items
We inspect every order before it ships, but if your peshtemal arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, we'll make it right — no need to send anything back first. Please email us at contact@thehouseofaegean.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll arrange a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer, and cover any shipping involved.
